Apartment Review for Vista Del Sol - Tempe, AZ

I moved into Vista the first year it opened, and was immediately struck by the shoddiness of the work done, such as a door stop too low to actually stop the door. However, it did appear to be very nice and clean, at least for the first month or so. As the year progressed, my roommates and I became more and more disillusioned with Vista. It really wouldn't be too bad of a place if it weren't for the immaturity of the majority of other residents. Each weekend was guaranteed to have at least one drunken bout of vandalism and/or fresh puke stains on the ground. Management did little to curb this. Ultimately, the convenience of Vista being so close to campus is overshadowed by its many inconveniences, such as a horrendous parking situation. You could easily find a better place to live than Vista and for far cheaper. The rent in my new apartment this year is a little over half of my rent at Vista and it is by the light rail station so getting to ASU is quite easy.
