Apartment Review for Vista Del Sol - Tempe, AZ

I have had nothing but problems with Vista del Sol. I never finalized my lease. My mother lost her job and I was no longer able to afford rent, (this happened over summer, so I never even lived there in the first place) I filed the re-lent form and payed the $200 fee. Then 2 days before August rent was due they told me I was responsible for the $700 rent, I had to contact them to ask a question and that's when they informed me. They told me "suck it up," and either withdraw from the university or pay for a place I have never even lived in, I don't even live in AZ. I've attempted to speak with managers over 8 times, each time the student CA says they're unavailable. Today I was informed the financial manager wouldn't be available for a week (through phone or via e-mail) My mom never even signed the Guarantor form, and they still tried to charge her, they replied, "She's your mom isn't she responsible?" even though my mother had no part in the lease agreement. They are ridiculously unprofessional, they try and rip you off, and if you need to move out (even if you've never moved in) because your family has an emergency and tuition is raised, plan on dropping out of school because that's what they told me I HAD TO DO. They said if I drop out, they'll return my $200, even if that means I throw away my entire scholarship.
