Apartment Review for The Gateway At Tempe - Tempe, AZ

i just moved out of there in august. it was one of the worst experiences of my life. the place was a mess. there were holes in the fences and even one block fence in the back was completely falling down, they never bothered to get them fixed untill the girl got raped. then once all of that was exposed on the news is when they finally fixed it. the office staff are awful and for the most part are clueless. they are just college kids who live there themselves. there are only like 2 people who know what they are talking about and they are very rude. also their workout area is pathetic. i dont know where they got the picture on their website from, because t is defintely not the one they have. they only have 2 elipticals, one of which is borken, a really old treadmill, and a few free weights, that is it. the internet in their computer area they offer rarely works. the volleyball nets are always ripped and torn and never fixed. i was promised new carpeting in my apartment but they never even as much as came in and cleaned up anything before i moved in. my friends roomates lived there before gateway ook over when it was still the villages and they have gone downhill since then. Also, when you move out they charge you bogues charges like not turning your keys or gate clicker in, even when i did turn them in. But they are saying that their records indicate i did not turn them in and i have no proof so i have to pay it. this place is a total joke and the place is so scummy. live somewhere else because this place is awful.
