Apartment Review for Quadrangles Apartments - Tempe, AZ

When you first walk through the Quadrangles you might get the impression that this is an upscale apartment complex. There are three nice pools (one with a fountain), brand new workout room, and the grounds are maintained very well. If you decide to move in then reality kicks in. This place is crawling with drug dealers and drug users. About 25% of the people that live here are college students and most of them take drugs. I am one of the few students that don’t do drugs. There are always black guys (not residents at least officially) texting on their cell phones and running from apartment to apartment day and night. Instead of delivering pizza they deliver dope. When they are not selling dope they are in the front office using the high speed internet or walking through the pool area hoping to check out women. Not many women use the pool anymore. Can you blame them? Everyone knows exactly who they are and what they are here for. To make a long story short Quadrangles management could end this nightmare very quickly. They are NOT a drug fee community and they readily admit that. So if you are not a drug free community then you must be a drug friendly community. They have a good security guard but he told me that since Quadrangles is not a drug free community he can’t investigate any drug activity. You could smell marijuana smoke from every single apartment and watch the same dope dealer visit 20 times a night and security can do nothing. The Gateway (formerly the Villages) which is a five minute walk from the Quadrangles IS a drug free community. That means all the dope dealers feel much more comfortable at Quadrangles and this place is now serving as a “drop off” point for dope that is destined for Gateway. I know that Quadrangles reads these reviews. Please get smart and make this a drug free community. It will make it so much better for the normal people. My lease is up in December and I don’t really want to move.
