Apartment Review for Pine Shadows Apartments - Tempe, AZ

Pros: The rent was very reasonable when I moved in. I feel the maintenance staff is very on top of the community and the upkeep is nice. Maintenance is generally responsive to calls for service. There's plenty of parking.

Cons: The management is abysmal. Nearly every experience with the property office has been a sour one. Victim of two separate criminal acts on the property - management never followed up when they said they would. Parking is enforced nightly by a company who tows residents. The office rarely answers the phone and doesn't return messages. When issues have arisen, the office has been combative instead of cooperative. After moveout, I was contacted by a collection agency. The office called it an "error" but was very slow at fixing things. A few problems would be understandable, but the management at this complex has a laundry list of issues too long to ignore.
