Apartment Review
I've had better

The maintenance staff was amazing. The office staff is cold and snobby. The place is clean and relatively safe but there are a lot of kids (not that kids are a problem) and a lot of noise, sometimes I couldn't fall asleep because neighboring apartments were so loud. It's more expensive than it's worth for sure. My car got towed in the first week of renting - for no reason. I expect to be able to leave my car for a couple of days, but I go to drive to the grocery store after two days and it's gone! Turns out they had a sign posted that they'd be trimming the trees, and to move cars there. But I didn't see it because I didn't visit my car in the 24 hours the sign was posted. I didn't get any call or notice, my car was towed, and I had to run, yes run, about 12 miles in 2 hours to get my car in the middle of the night because if I waited another day I would have to pay twice as much to pick it up. As is I had to pay $175 cash to get it, and all the managers had to say about it was "you need to keep an eye on your car." .....it was two days! Some people don't go places on a weekend, and me, I could walk to work, so I didn't need to touch my car for a week at a time! I felt it was very rude, especially since I'd just moved to the area and everything was new to me. Cox doesn't service the apartment, so I couldn't get the cheaper, more reliable internet service... it's frustrating because the Cox website says it services there, but just that complex, they don't. I'm sure it's because the managers refuse to let them. I have a dog, and the managers said she could live with me, but I decided before move-in that she'd just stay with my boyfriend instead, since I'd be working most of the time and the pet fee, as always, is significant. So they were fine with that - but when my boyfriend came to visit, and brought my dog with (which they'd approved) suddenly they said she couldn't be there. Made it very difficult for him to come visit at all. One day I had to have the dog with me, and she was only on the grounds for a couple hours (plenty of people from neighboring apartment complexes walk their dogs through all the time - this was no different) and they said if they saw her on grounds again my lease would be terminated. ....okay. I was leaving anyway in a couple months. Looking for somewhere better now, but it wouldn't take much to make me happier than I was there.
