Apartment Review for City Scape Apartments - Tempe, AZ

I made the mistake of renting at this facility, and right away the countertops were stained and the blinds were cracked. One of the features they claim they offer is a television in the kitchen, yet there was none present when I moved in; they promised to get me one soon but in 2 years of renting there I never saw any such thing. I did however have my car stolen so I bought one with an alarm and it went off about once a week. One of their managers got in a shouting match with me over a minor issue, fortunately she's no longer with the facility. The management company itself is a bunch of umm, *donkey* holes. When I got my deposit back from moving out they had taken $60 off for water damage from a leak behind the couch which I didn't know about before moving my furniture and reported to them right away. Hardly the renter's fault. They also charged me $300 to replace the carpet for a small spill that would have come right out with a $30 steam cleaning. Sh***yscape is more like it. I will say a few good things about this place. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, especially the pool area, and there are fragrant bushes all along the sidewalks. It's a (mostly) clean upscale place to live if you don't mind overpriced rent, horrid management, and surprise fees from nowhere.
